Connect2Agent

Good evening,

I'm just curious...anyone out there familiar with Connect2Agent and it's services? I was contacted by one of their reps this evening and am not familiar with the company. I have quite a few tried and true marketing tools in use now and would rather be cautious before jumping into spending more money, especially in this economy.

Hi Samantha. I landed on your blog after reading your comment on how to get people to comment on your blog. Well, here you go, I'm commenting on your blog. I'm approaching 10,000 points and I don't get tons of comments either. You have to be a consistent and regular blogger that's for sure. I don't really write for comments from other bloggers. I write in the hopes that clients will find my blog. Everything I post is at least 75% with the client in mind. Just this week I had my first call from a client about listing his property and it came from Active Rain. 

Use AR for your benefit. Build up some good content on your blog. Write a great article and send out a mass e-mail to your clients with a link to your article. Take yourself to your client instead of waiting for them to come to you. I post quite a few videos and multimedia on my blog. I send out an email (constant contact) to my e-mail list. I can monitor my email reports and see who clicks what. It's great. In this market, I say go to your clients, don't wait for them to come to you. AR is a great marketing tool for this and it costs nothing but your time. P.S. I'm adding you as an associate.

I did a search tonight and came across your post and I too was contacted by Connect2Agent and was kind of hoping for answers as you were. I'll be back soon and hopefully by then you will have found someone who knows something on this company.

Samantha - I don't know anything about Connect2Agent, but if you have something that is working for you now I would save your money.

Wait till the market swings back up, then you might not need anything but your professionalism.

Hi Samantha-

My advice to anyone asking about a "new exciting" product to ask who is using it and be sure you get a list of people from the vendor. Pick and least 3 names and call them...oh, and don't start at the top of the list. One question I often ask is "how long have you been using the product and have you made any money with it." Sometimes it not about making money but making life easier. But you're already doing the most important thing and that is asking. Greetings from Paradise.com

Samantha....

After you 'wowed' my post I was curious about you. I see you're fairly new so you probably haven't run across some of the fun stuff that goes on around AR. This place can be a blast. You can't beat having fun and making money at the same time. Life doesn't get any better than that :)

I love Steve's advice to you. The only thing I would add is to be yourself. Enjoy yourself. Blogging is more about YEO (you engaging others) than SEO. The SEO has a way of taking care of itself when you don't over think it. I love the way Blogging allows us to pull the Consumer rather than push the Consumer :)

Now...I really should move along but before I do I want you to know that's not a growth on my big toe. It's dead tissue. I've just spent 25 days in the hospital undergoing life and limb saving surgeries. Unfortunately I will be losing that little piece of my toe. But hey...I'm here and I did make it home :)
